We host a variety of speciality groups & retreats including yoga, tantra, dancing & meditation retreats. Speciality groups include Autism Camps Australia Camps & corporate groups. We host 10 Autism Camps annually https://www.autismcampaustralia.org/camp_nsw check them out if you have a child with Autism, you get to bring the whole family, for a whole lot of fun for 5 nights. Accommodation, activity program, one one one support worker & all meals included. You truly get to enjoy a break, a real holiday. And while you’re here enjoy a massage, yoga & some adult information sessions, whilst the kids are off having the time of their lives. Autistic children & siblings have separate programs. Perfect for corporate programs & students on a school retreat, we collaborate Bec Fox & her amazing team as external providers https://becfox.com.au/business-leadership-team-workshops/the-holy-grail-leadership-challenge/ & to provide & lead team building activities for your participants/students program . She brings her team & equipment to Midginbil Eco Resort and can work in with your own program during your stay with us & add a whole level of fun, excitement & challenge.
School retreats are perfect for our venue, in the beautiful natural environment, enveloping students in beauty & tranquility. Our Retreat packages include delicious, wholesome food, catering for all meals, and comfortable, country style accommodation. All rooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, excluding the 10 bell tents, guests use our camp amenities with toilets & showers.
Midginbil Eco Resort has been operating as a caravan park & campground for over 30 years & has a strong connection to nature & to the community. What started as a large working dairy farm in the late 1800s until the late 1960s, was rebranded in 2020 as Midginbil’s eco retreats in NSW, where city chic meets the country lifestyle.

Include: Solar heated Pool (closed during Winter), tennis court & volley ball net, a large grassy area for a game of cricket or kicking the footy. Lawn games, team games, yoga, meditation, festival style with food trucks, the skys’ the limit at Midginbil (well almost).
There’s a creek that meanders through the property, that can be enjoyed by guests.
There are two sections to the resort and we work with you to create the ideal space for your group/retreat. The original 1906 homestead is completed with deck overlooking the resort style pool & tennis court with dining room inside and then a comfortable lounge room for chilling or a break out room. The other section with the barn is ideal for larger groups and entertaining. Seating up to 170 persons, with full size kitchen & cool room for self catering.
After dark we can set up a bonfire, where you can sit and enjoy the warmth of the fire and discuss the days adventures and story tell, listen to some music. Simply relax & enjoy the big open sky and gaze at the stars & the galaxies.
Our property is ideally located on a 400 acre property, bordered by the rainforests of the stunning, Tweed Valley, in the Northern Rivers, New South Wales.
Just 2 hours south of Brisbane, 45 minutes drive south from Coolangatta, and 3 hours north of Coffs Harbour.
Generally, retreats can last for a day, or however long you’d like or need, but the retreats offered at our Midginbil Eco Resort are typically three to five days long.
